她高中回到韓國讀書，後來又到英國讀大學，畢業於倫敦城市大學文化創造産業系。大學畢業後發表出道專輯《少女感性(소녀감성)》，收錄OOHYO由高中開始創作的歌曲，全部由OOHYO作曲作詞。
認識OOHYO是因為《Jessica & Krystal》的節目，其中一集兩姊妹在車播放自己的playlist，播放了OOHYO的《Vineyard (빈야드)》及《Teddy Bear Rises》，很喜歡這樣的風格，慢慢地再去YouTube找其它歌聽，就喜歡上了啦。

Hey it’s me OOHYO. In this album I talk about my struggles to keep up with the ever-changing world amidst all the chaos and confusion that seem to define the post-truth era we now live in. Though sometimes the wisest thing a person can do is to simply face the hard truths about them self so many things seem to distract us from clearly identifying our innermost needs and flaws. I pray this album would encourage those people who are beginning to discover the smallest quietest and simplest truths that free us and allow us to grow in life. May these ‘truths' guide us and fulfill us in ways material values cannot.
